Maintenance Mechanic

Brattleboro Housing Partnerships is seeking a full time Maintenance Mechanic to join our amazing team.  The successful candidate will have an excellent overall knowledge of buildings and grounds maintenance, at least 3 years of relevant work experience and be a self-starter able to work in a team setting.  We are looking for a person with skills in all areas of property maintenance and light construction, specifically skills in building systems, as well as some experience in light electrical, carpentry and plumbing.  The Maintenance Mechanic will also assist with groundskeeping and snow removal.  The Maintenance Mechanic is required to participate in the on-call rotation with other maintenance staff. Must have a High School diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.   Employment screening includes a criminal, court, driving, and Adult Protective Services records check. Maintenance Worker

The Brattleboro Housing Partnerships is seeking a Maintenance Worker to be part of its amazing Maintenance Team. The Maintenance Worker is an entry position in the Maintenance Department. Duties include operating and maintaining a wide variety of maintenance equipment including large lawn mowers, snow plows, power washers and trucks. This position is responsible for many outside maintenance duties such as lawn mowing, snow removal and inside cleaning of common areas in residential and office buildings. The successful candidate will have some experience in these areas and be willing to learn. They must be able to carry 50 pounds, stand and be on ladders for extended periods. Must have current Driver’s License with good driving record. Employment screening includes a criminal, court, driving and Adult Protective Services records check. AmeriCorps VISTA

Brattleboro Housing Partnerships (BHP) is looking for a Program Coordinator through the SerVermont VISTA program. The Program Coordinator will help to improve the lives of resident families by offering new approaches to obtaining & using fresh food. They will coordinate directly with families for program and community building,  help create community gardens, work with community agencies to provide culinary skills and nutrition education.  This position is an opportunity to create a lasting impact in the lives of many families.
